These tomatoes were planted in pots at the same time and given the same care. Except the one on the right was planted with ROOTBLAST. ROOTBLAST not only made this plant grow faster, but it will also bear fruit quicker and longer than the plant without ROOTBLAST.

ROOTBLAST WORKS ON ALL PLANTS!

#text
Rootblast is a growth formula in a granulated form sprinkled in planting holes when preparing soil and soilless mediums. Rootblast can also be used on established plants sprinkling around drip lines. This helps the plant to form more feeder roots. The more roots a plant has, the more plant growth above. Easy to use and 100% environmentally safe.

  • more resistance to disease
  • more tolerance of the elements, especially drought

The Foundation for a Thriving Garden

#text
Most fertilisers are aimed at the needs of the advanced plant. Rootblast is a nutrient package aimed at the developing feeder roots (the tiny, hair-like roots by which the seed or seedlings absorb their water and nutrient requirements). All plants, trees and bushes keep developing these tiny feeder roots throughout their life spans.

Quick Facts
  • Rootblast works for all plants, flowers (annuals and perennials), vegetables, shrubs, houseplants, outdoor potted plants, roses, even young trees and problem grass areas. It works for seeds too.
  • Rootblast is 100% environmentally safe.
  • Rootblast was designed to do one thing only - stimulate root growth, so you wont see the results for the first two weeks because growth activity will occur under the ground at the roots.
  • Rootblast is not primarily a plant food, so after 2-3 weeks begin feeding your plants as you have in the past. Rootblast does wonders for houseplants when they need re-potting.
  • A 340g Rootblast is enough for around 60 container plants. This makes it a very economical product.
  • Water thoroughly after applying Rootblast. Wait two to three weeks after applying Rootblast and fertilise as you normally would. Never apply more Rootblast than recommended.
  • A plant's oxygen is obtained through the water taken up through the roots. It is like having two straws in a milkshake. The person with the biggest straw gets more shake just like the plant with the bigger roots will get more nutrition and water.
  • Bigger roots mean bigger plants, its that simple

#2
The study aimed to evaluate ROOTBLAST®, a slow-release granular fertilizer designed for homeowners, on two common bedding plant species. The product contains a small amount of macronutrients (2-1-2, N-P-K) and micronutrients, intended to support plant development from seedlings to established plants.
Materials and Methods:
  • Soil gathered from The Ohio State University Agricultural Technical Institute was classified as clay-loam with a pH of 5.8.
  • Twenty-four 6-inch pots were filled with this soil, each mixed with 1 teaspoon of ROOTBLAST®.
  • Sixteen Viola and eight Pelargonium plants were transplanted on August 8, 2005. Half of each species served as control, while the other half received the treatment.
  • Pelargonium plants were pruned, and all old flowers and faded foliage were removed. Viola plants, being recent transplants, required no pruning.
  • Plants were placed in a greenhouse and watered with distilled water for six weeks.
  • Plant height was recorded at the beginning and end of the experiment, and time to flowering and overall appearance were noted.
Results:
  • Pelargonium: Treated plants flowered earlier, produced more and larger flowers, branched more, and had a greater number of larger, greener leaves compared to untreated plants. They were also slightly taller, and their root systems were significantly larger.
  • Viola: Treated plants showed significantly more flowers earlier and developed larger, darker green foliage in greater numbers. While the height difference was limited, this was expected for Viola, a plant that does not grow very tall. The root mass of treated Viola was dramatically larger (2-3 times) than untreated plants.
Discussion and Conclusion:
Both Pelargonium and Viola treated with ROOTBLAST® exhibited increased growth and earlier, more abundant flowering compared to untreated plants. The most dramatic difference was observed in the development of significantly larger root systems in treated plants. The researchers concluded that larger root systems lead to larger plants, earlier flowering, increased leaf numbers, and better establishment in the landscape. The study suggests that ROOTBLAST® is effective in providing initial nutrients for healthy root system development in NE Ohio soils, allowing newly planted bedding plants to develop faster, flower earlier, and fill in more quickly.
